After the concluding session, the Spanish State Secretary for Research hosted the closing event in Casa Llotja de Mar, including a cultural activity.

Historically, the Casa LLotja de Mar has been the seat of the most emblematic institutions of Catalan commerce, for instance, the Consulate of Commerce of Barcelona. Today, it is the headquarters of the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Shipping of Barcelona.
